Before Version 6.0, the boss for Overgrowth was the Eradicator. This is no longer possible as the new core ships have virtually no building damage. In Version 5, the fastest time for Overgrowth was in 44 seconds, by sneaking to the enemy core with the Dart and weaving in and out of Salvo fire while wearing down the core. There should not be enough Salvos left to defend the core. Then, set up Atrax production, and storm the core once you have about 7.

Set up your main defensive lines on the ice patch just outside range of the enemy Salvos northeast of your Core. This sector can also be beaten with ripple warfare: Set up silicon production, and use water cooled Ripples to take out as many of the enemy salvos as possible on the left side of the core. Use them to quickly take down the core from the left side. They outrange everything in Overgrowth other than the Ripples that you boost over. Remember to pack as much resources into your loadout as possible and try to have the unit factories and reconstructors with the core schematic.Ī cheaper and potentially faster way is to do the same strategy above but with Novas. Your Zeniths naturally outrange Scatters and so eventually, you will clear this sector with relative ease. In order to clear this as quickly as possible, rapidly construct a group of Zeniths and fly around to flank the enemy core. This would be a good area to put your Tsunamis or Waves, and also any high-damage single-target turrets like Lancer or Spectre, depending on what you have available. If you want, you can create sections of different wall thickness so that climbing enemies will separate from the non-climbing enemies and move toward areas where they could climb over terrain. Spamming Tsunamis or Waves is effective at pushing the guardian back, and can be combined with Surge Alloy Cyclones for extra damage. Please be respectful of everyone's time and effort they put into this and don't abuse the open editing permissions.Avoid at all costs letting the Arkyid guardian of this sector spawn and climb over your walls, since it will be much harder to kill while it regenerates with its sapping attack. I may have started this doc, but the Mindustry community has built it into what it is today, and even now it continues to grow and evolve. The tech tree and map page are locked and cannot be edited, as well as all the sector names/numbers and their resources up to magma rock to protect them but the rest are still able to be edited by anyone so that players can add information or data where applicable. Many features of this google doc were born on this page! Community Input- players can come here to post ideas, suggestions, questions, or discoveries they've made about game mechanics etc. Sector Notes/Comments- another list of sectors where players can add their thoughts, tips, strategies, etc based on their experience in any given sector. Shocked can come from 'lightning' attacks as well. Calculator (building production) - to help figure out and maximize your production of materials and resources. This graph suggests the left column is used first as a consistent baseline, and then an additional effect is applied once from the top row. Also includes a spreadsheet version so players can use the search function to locate specific sectors easily

Serpulo Map- contains a full map of the planet, to show where all the sectors are in relation to each other, and is color coded to reflect threat level, and has icons on sectors that are attack sectors.

Tech Tree- not only displays the full completed tree, but also lists the requirements to unlock everything in the tree. SearchMans self-serve big data tool tells you how hard it is to find Mindustry Classic by Anuken (Google Play, Japan) inside the Apple & Android Play app.

Shows what resources they contain(scrap has a flat 25% chance to appear in any numbered sector, so it will not be consistent among players), whether it is a survival or attack sector, the threat level of the sector, if there is magma rock in the sector for thermal generators(WIP), what(if any) neighboring sectors are attack sectors and could threaten it, as well as what wave players encountered a guardian and what that guardian was(for numbered sectors, this is randomized and will not be consistent among all players).

This is a google doc containing various pages with detailed information on several aspects of the game.
